It's normal to travel to see family and friends over the holidays. For some people a get together is their only holiday option. We go to Las Vegas every year for Thanksgiving. We have friends/family that live there, but other friends here that have nobody to celebrate with.
But getting everyone together in one spot is always the thing. People have to travel, and sometimes it brings along the holiday stress nobody needs in their lives.
