Still trying to figure out what you're going to dress up as for Halloween this year? Kids driving you nuts because they can't make up their minds? Stop. This will help (hopefully). It's the top trending costumes for 2025. Seems like a lot of family friendly costumes this year too. So, now I don't know what I should be lol.

Here are the top costumes for 2025:

  • Stitch - The adorable alien creature from “Lilo & Stitch” is back in a big way thanks to the live-action movie that came out in May.

  • Minecraft - Fans of the video game and “A Minecraft Movie” have plenty of choices for costumes, whether they want to be a creeper, the ender dragon, an iron gollum or a chicken jockey.

  • Super Mario Bros - Kids of all ages love the video games and the movie and characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Daisy are always popular choices, and don’t forget about Bowser and Bowser Jr.

  • Sonic the Hedgehog - Another video game icon that makes a great costume, especially for a trio dressing up as Sonic, Knuckles and Tails.

  • “Frozen” - It’s been a while since the movie made its debut back in 2013, but fans are still here for the magic of “Frozen” and aren’t ready to “Let It Go.” So, don’t be surprised to see trick-or-treaters dressed as Anna and Elsa this year.

Here's the rest of the list:

  • Elphaba and Glinda - With “Wicked: For Good” coming out in November, our favorite witches from Oz are going to be very popular costumes.
  • Snow White - You can always count on seeing a Disney princess or two on Halloween.
  • Superman - This classic Superhero never goes out of style, and you can always switch things up and go as his alter ego, Clark Kent.
  • Leatherface - Those who want to get scary this Halloween can do it as Leatherface with an apron, mask and of course, a chainsaw.
  • Spongebob and friends - Squidward, Patrick and Spongebob himself are always popular with both Gen Z and millennial parents.
  • “Star Wars” - Classics like Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo and Chewbacca make a great group costume.
  • Fantastic Four - These superheroes are bound to be everywhere this Halloween.
  • “How To Train Your Dragon” - Fans of the books and the movies can don their viking attire as Hiccup or Astrid, or go as a dragon like Toothless, Stormfly or Light Fury.
  • Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head - The fun part of this duo costume is customizing their outfits and accessories any way you want, just don’t forget Mr. Potato Head’s bowler hat.

This should be a good start to the hunt for Halloween. But let's be real. At least they didn't ask to be Art The Clown (he's my fav.)
