I joke about zombies, and robots taking over a lot. I get it. But I was a kid that was raised on Horror movies, and I can see things from a different angle and not with blinders on. (says the prepper in me lol)
But what if zombies were really real and taking over, eating brains, and doing what zombies do... FEED?
I have a friend Drew that was a Marine Sargent, and in a night of drinks in San Diego on one of my trips he told me "You know the Marines have a zombie plan right?" and I was thinking he was just a little over-served, and just talking to keep the convo moving. But he kept on it. I listened and we shared ideas and why they would not work or if we thought they would work.
So now we can do this. Where would you go if there was a Zombie Apocalypse? Would you do like the old movies like Night of the Living Dead and try and stay put, or would you make the move to a new location and start over?
Is your spot you are thinking of a sports arena? Well 30 NFL stadiums could hold up as a spot you could re-populate the planet.
The State Farm Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona tops the list with a score of 74.7%. The stadium has a number of security features, the field is capable of growing crops, and it has a retractable roof which will prevent zombie breaches. Which is smart, because you want to be secure.
The Marines had/have a plan to take over a high rise building and secure it like a compound. But I like the room at a stadium. Plus the food and stuff, just makes sense....well, to me.
Some stadiums like Allegiant stadium in Las Vegas has 3 fields they rotate in for grass, and the heat makes growing plants there work. Except for the heat. That could be a problem. So which stadiums make the list for other options?
Well, the Seahawks’ Lumen Field received the lowest score of 39.9%. Other high-ranking stadiums for survival include Lambeau Field; Arrowhead Stadium; and M&T Bank Stadium.
Do you have a plan? What if this were real? Where would you go?
