I've driven Uber in the past, and oh the things you'll hear as a driver. Sometimes you get the drunk that feels sick in your back seat. So that could be a huge up-charge for cleaning if they get sick after hitting up the bars.
Have you ever left something in your Uber/Lyft? Panic hits 2 seconds after you get out of their car. Sure you can message your driver to let them know you left something behind. But what kind of items get left in your ride share?
What else gets left behind? Well a mannequin head with human hair, a live turtle, and a 5-gallon bucket of beans. Commonly forgotten items like phones and keys were also reported, but who hasn't dropped a phone right.
New York City deemed the “most forgetful city.” Unique finds included a chainsaw, Ghostbusters ghost trap, fresh breast milk, live lobsters, and even passenger divorce papers. Food items like 175 hamburger sliders and a “bucket” of feta cheese were also left behind. So don't feel so bad when you leave your left-overs after dinner. It COULD be much worse.
Like I said before, UBER is really good about getting your stuff back to you. You can just use the app to get your items back.....oh, you left your phone? No App for you lol. You'll figure it out, in fact I'm sure your phone is attached to a watch, a tablet or something. Start there.
