Have you ever cried in public? Traveler Matt Kirouac kicks up the drama by finding the most scenic places to let it all out.
“As a self-proclaimed public cryer, I’ve done some of my best work in public—sometimes in the privacy of a remote national park, sometimes surrounded by tourists,” Kirouac wrote. He recommends wailing at the Cave of the Winds in Niagara Falls, at Greenwich Beach on Prince Edward Island, or on the Bridge of Sighs in Venice. Some spots, however, don’t make for a good cry. “I’ve cried in my share of airports, and I wouldn’t recommend them as prime crying spots,” Kirouac advised.
