One In 3 Parents Are Eating This

You eat this and probably don't even think about it. But about a third of parents eat whatever is left in their kids’ lunchbox for dinner, and 17% say their child’s lunch is better than what they received as a child.

However, the survey of 2,000 parents with school-aged children (like me) found that the classic combination of a sandwich, chips, and juice is still the most popular lunch, and it's freaking delicious. Parents say their children tend to dislike finding snap peas, green beans, tuna salad, and hard-boiled eggs in their lunchbox. “As many parents know, it can be challenging to get your kids to eat what’s in their lunchbox, especially whole foods,” Dr. Martin Ruebelt of NatureSweet said.

“There are so many grab-and-go healthy snacking options on the market that incorporate whole foods such as produce that are delicious, convenient, and more importantly, kid approved.”
