According to Spherical Insights data, North Dakotans drink 45.8 gallons of beer per capita every year. This is about 631 cans of beer. Nationally, New Hampshire is in second place at 43.9 gallons. I thought it would be Ohio, but looks like I was wrong. So bottoms up.
The craft brewing industry in the Granite State provides 4,000 jobs! When it comes to taxes, Wyoming has the lowest beer tax at just two cents per gallon, now I would be in on that. Utah residents drink the least amount of beer of all the states, you know the church and stuff. Their citizens consume only 20.2 gallons per capita annually. This could be due to religious influence. The state also bans “happy hour” discounts.
So just when you think your the best at something, you find out....you're still not at the top of a list.
