It just wasn't for her.

Kris Jenner, 70, got candid about trying Ozempic before it became a popular trend for weight loss during a recent appearance on the SheMD podcast. In the conversation with hosts Mary Alice Haney and Dr. Thais Aliabadi, Jenner was honest about her past experience with the GLP-1, noting that the side effects made it so it was not the right fit for her, per People.

"I tried it," she said. "We tried it once when no one knew what it was and it made me really sick."

The momager recalled reaching out to Dr. A after the effects of the medicine had a negative impact on her everyday life.

"I called her up one day and I go, 'I can't work anymore. I can't, I'm so sick. I can't like — nauseous,'" she said. "And so she goes, 'Okay, okay, let's try something else."

She and her doctor "looked at different options" and found a combination of peptide injections and supplements that seemed to work much better for Jenner.

"And that was a game changer," she said. "That actually bought me an extra couple hours at night. Because I get up so early, I tend to want to go and collapse as soon as I have my last email or my last call or see my kids and have dinner and I'm done."

The Kardashians star saw a positive turnaround with the new regimen, adding, "I felt like I had more energy. And of course, it's good for hair, and nails, and skin and all of that stuff."

Another "game changer" is keeping her hormones in balance, E! News reports.

"I get my blood drawn every three months just to keep my hormones balanced. Because I realized after I was 45 that was like so important to just your physical female health — and male health, by the way. I encourage my son to check hormones to see what's happening," she said, adding, "But it was really a game changer for me, because when you look at your thyroid, you look at your hormone health — you look at what your body needs."

Jenner also explained that her youthful glow is also a result from her "helpful" facelift by Dr. Steven Levine. She recently hit back at claims that she was "furious" over the procedure, which she unveiled last year, because it was reportedly "slipping," admitting that the comments have been "driving me crazy" and calling them "a flat-out lie."
