Meeting for drinks is normal, but new research says singles may want to watch how much they drink when they get together.
According to the survey of 2-thousand people from dating app Flirtini, a quarter of men and 20% of women would turn down a second date with someone who gets drunk on their first one.
The poll also reveals more about people’s feelings on drinking and dating:
- Half of women (50%) and 28% of men say they never drink alcohol on the first date.
- One in five women and one in 10 men feel that booze dampens the mood on a date.
- Having alcohol in a dating app profile pic is seen as unattractive by one in five men and one in seven women.
- But a lot of folks have had one too many on a date, as a third of women and a fifth of men admit they drank so much they actually forgot their date’s name.
