Recalled Ice Cream Sold At H-E-B Stores Across Texas Contains Metal Pieces

H-E-B voluntarily recalled multiple 12-count packages of 3-ounce cups of Creamy Creations ice cream on April 27th due to the presence of possible metal fragments. According to the United States Food & Drug Administration, the potentially dangerous products were distributed to "all H-E-B stores in Texas and Mexico and Central Market, Joe V’s Smart Shop, and Mi Tienda stores."

H-E-B has removed all 3-ounce cups of Creamy Creations ice cream in select flavors from shelves in an effort to keep consumer safety at the forefront of their mission.

Affected flavors and UPC codes include: 3-ounce H-E-B Creamy Creations Chocolate Ice Cream with UPC code 4122062948, 3-ounce H-E-B Creamy Creations Ice Cream Lime/Orange Combo with UPC code 4122081930, and 3-ounce H-E-B Creamy Creations Ice Cream Homemade/Chocolate Combo with UPC code 4122081931. Expiration dates range from September 6th, 2024 to September 21st, 2024. This information can be found on "the back of product’s outer bag, not the individual cups."
