Lets Supply The Schools!!

Students from Thomas Jefferson High School, Walnut Hill Elementary & Cary MIddle School started classes in new facilities yesterday, after their schools were destroyed in Sunday nights storms. Teachers weren't able to get to their classrooms so they all have to start from scratch! We need your help to Supply The Schools!

102.9 Now will be out at 3 DISD collection sites today collecting gift cards & supplies

  • Kathlyn Joy Gilliam Collegiate Academy, 1700 E. Camp Wisdom Road
  • Turney W. Leonard Training Center, 5151 Samuel Blvd
  • One Center at Linus Wright Administration Building, 9400 N. Central Expressway, first floor.

Immediate items needed are binders, colored duct tape, white poster boards, spiral notebooks, small dry erase boards and markers, pencils, tape, staplers, folders, dividers, Colored paper and highlighters as well as gift cards, preferably in $25–$30 increments.

If you can't make it by today, DISD would appreciate gift cards in $25–$30 increments, which you can mail to 9400 N. Central Expressway, Box 21.

They are also accepting small boxes of new school supplies at the three following locations Monday–Friday from 8 a.m.–5 p.m.:
