“Yanny vs. Laurel” is the new politics, the way it’s ruining relationships. Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak are no different. They’ve been friends…and sometimes more…ever since they did “The Office” together.
But things got real when Mindy sent B.J. a message saying, “Hey. We’ve had a long friendship. You mean a lot to me. But if you don’t hear Yanny, it’s over.”
And B.J. replied, “Obviously Laurel…who hears Yanny?”
And that, apparently, is the end of a friendship. (People)
