Seth Rogen says the part of the villain in “Green Hornet” almost went to Nicolas Cage…but his idea for it was too weird. He wanted to play the role as a “white Bahamian or Jamaican.”
Seth said, “Yeah, not that there aren’t white Bahamians, but it seemed perhaps insensitive…
“We [went to] dinner with Nicolas, and I [was like] ‘If he does the white Bahamian thing at the dinner, I’m going to lose it’…and within 20 minutes of getting to the dinner he’s fully doing it.”
