Keith Urban Convinced Nicole Kidman to Sing Backup On One of His Songs – The Bert Show
Keith Urban brought his wife Nicole Kidman out to help him sing “Parallel Line” at an event in Nashville on Monday. And he had a good reason. She sings backup on the actual song.
He recently talked about how that happened. “I was working at my studio at the house. Nicole was home, and I went upstairs and said, ‘Would you come down and sing these parts? It’d be great to have on this record.
“Of all songs this is the right one to have you on.’ So, she came down and sang along.” Ironically, co-writer Nicolle Galyon also sings backup on the song. He added, “So, there’s Nic and Nic on the track.”
Keith posted a clip of their duo from Monday on Instagram. “Parallel Line” is on his “Graffiti U” album, which drops Friday. (Pop Culture)
