Lorde upset some people by posting a picture of her bathtub along with the caption, “And I will always love you”…which is obviously from Whitney Houston’s most popular song.
And why would that be such a bad thing? Because both Whitney and her daughter died in bathtubs. But Lorde had no intention of making a joke out of that. In fact, she didn’t even realize what she’d done until people started pointing it out.
She posted an apology saying, “Extremely extremely poorly chosen, “I’m so sorry for offending anyone. I hadn’t even put this together, I was just excited to take a bath. I’m an idiot. Love Whitney forever and ever. Sorry again.”
