Which Late-Night Host Would You Most Trust to Work on Your Car?t

If you needed work done on your car, which late night TV host would you pick to do it?

Sounds like a stupid question, but an automotive market research company actually asked it to more than 22,000 vehicle owners…and Jimmy Kimmel ended up in first, with 27.6% of the vote.

Jimmy Fallon was a very close second with 27.4%.  Stephen Colbert was third with 19.6%, followed by Trevor Noah with 14.3%, and James Corden with 11.2%.

That adds up to 100%, so there weren’t any more choices. Seth Meyers, Conan O’Brien, Samantha Bee, and John Oliver weren’t included…not that any of them seem like better mechanics than the rest.

Ironically, there’s one late night host who’s famous for being a gearhead:  Jay Leno.  He’d be the obvious #1 choice if he were an option.  Jerry Seinfeld is also a big car-lover…although it’s unclear how much he gets under the hood.

Of course, Jay is retired from late night…for the time being at least…and Jerry’s show “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” isn’t a late-night show.
