Lately, Elton John has been letting fans jump onstage and party when he sings “Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting”…but it has not been going well.

Last month, he got hit in the mouth with a string of beads…and this past Thursday he stormed off the stage in the middle of the song, after one fan got too handsy.

In a video posted by TMZ, you can see the guy reaching in as Elton is pounding the song out on the piano.  And he actually turns to him and tells him to “[Eff] off” a few times.  Finally, he just gets up and leaves.

Elton did come back to finish the show, but he told the crowd, “No more coming onstage on “Saturday Night”, you [effed] it up.”

Over the weekend, Elton explained what happened… “A fan put his hands on the piano keys while I was playing and continued to do so even after I asked him to stop.

“He then proceeded to reach over the piano and try to take pictures, completely disrupting the performance.

“I bring fans onstage every evening when we play ‘Saturday Night’ in the set, it is always a lovely part of the show where I get to meet them, shake their hands and have them right there with me while I play.

“They have always been very courteous to the fact we are in the middle of playing a song live.  This guy was rude, disruptive and had no care or respect for our show and so I let him know how I felt, then left the stage until they had removed him.”

He didn’t say whether he was serious about not bringing people onstage anymore.
