Mark Hamill might be in talks to join “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3” . . . and apparently, it’s happening because of a fan’s suggestion on Twitter.
A fan Tweeted at director James Gunn, and said that he should cast Mark, and James replied, quote, “I think [he] lives around the corner from me in Malibu, so he can just come over and we can talk about it over a cup of coffee.”
Mark responded, quote, “I’d be happy to do so . . . both as a good neighbor, and an unemployed actor.” And then he added, quote, “DM me for my contact info if you’re serious, and a good neighbor.” And as far as we know, they’re connecting.
(Obviously, it’s too early to say if it’s going to happen, or if there’s even a part for Mark to take.)
(But it could be cool if this became a ‘thing,’ and random fans were able to make casting suggestions on social media. Or, since this is social media, it could also be terrible.)
